Affiliate disclosure
The short version: some links on Godsend may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, rankings are never for sale, and this page explains exactly how that works.
What an affiliate link is
When you click certain outbound links on this site and buy something, the retailer may pay Godsend a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price either way. This is how the site funds the research time behind the rankings without paywalls, sponsored posts or ads pretending to be content.
Which links are affiliate links
Outbound product links route through our internal /go/ links and carry a
rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute. As of the last update of this page, Godsend
links to retailers including Temu, Takealot and AliExpress. Some of these relationships may
be unpaid at any given time: where a retailer has no affiliate program, or our application
is pending, we link anyway when it is the right buy, and we earn nothing.
The rules that keep this honest
- Rankings and verdicts are finalised before affiliate links are attached.
- Commission rates never reorder a ranking or upgrade a verdict.
- We link to non-paying retailers whenever they are the better buy.
- Gimmick verdicts stay published even when they cost us clicks and commission.
- Every page with affiliate links carries a visible disclosure, and each recommendation repeats a short version near its buttons.
What we do not do
- No sponsored placements disguised as rankings
- No invented prices, ratings, review counts or "tested by us" claims
- No fake urgency: no countdowns, no "only 3 left", no "price about to rise"
Prices and availability
Marketplace prices move constantly. Price bands on this site are indicative ranges checked on the date shown on each guide, not live quotes. The price at the retailer at the moment you buy is the only price that counts.
